I always tell my client parents with young kids to not stress out about their kids melting down, throwing tantrums or not wanting to participate during a shoot- kids are unpredictable, and I am ok with that. I then list off the many years of experience with kids under my belt that started at a super young age for me: oldest sister, babysitter, nanny, aupair abroad, Montessori teacher, special needs aide, mother of 2 energetic boys, and now photographer of children -to name just a few! I have seen it all, and it doesn’t faze me!
2 of the sessions I had this weekend had little ones that didn’t want to be there and boy, did they let us know it!- the entire session! 😉
Here is one sweet family that I am sure will be surprised to see I was able to work my magic as promised, and get super fun and happy photos despite the circumstances.
