Have you ever hired someone  to take photos of your kids and your kids were not that thrilled?

Yes, as fun as I like to think I am,

sometimes kids get to the session and they are not gonna have it… at least that’s what they think ;)

Last weekend I had such a fun maternity session with a great gal here in RI,

then at the end, I had her family show up and join in.

I had a great time, but

I know some parts were stressful for mom and dad, worrying if I was getting ANY pics…

The littest man was a little cranky and clinging to mom and

he just didn’t like most of my ideas, haha!

I just went with the flow. I am a mom too! This stuff just doesn’t phase me.

I assured them- this is just what happens from time to time with little ones, and I am a sneaky photographer ;)

{My past clients can attest to this- If they have brought their kids to me and they were grumpy or sad,

they know I will promise that I am sneaky and not too worried!}

Crying, or cranky kids just don’t stress me out. I know we will get some pics at some point, and YES I am really sneaky! :)

Today I was processing the images and was so giddy to see so many adorable closeups of her youngest son’s face.

I can’t wait for her to see!

This is the best feeling- being giddy with excitement to surprise my client with pics of their kiddos sweet faces.

I am in love with these close-ups of this little man.

{PS. I can’t give too much away, but her other little guy is a doll too! Can’t wait to share his close ups! :)}

Yes, even got some with some real smiles! Yay!
