Ciao 2013~ It’s been fun!

Happy New Year Friends!

What an action-packed, fun-filled, wonder-full year we had!

Its hard to believe my camera traveled to 11 US States this year and 2 Canadian Provinces.

Lots of laughs, a few tears, but many, many amazing memories made.

I treasure each and every session I was able to be a part of.

Get cozy and take a little trip with me through just SOME

of Wildflower Studio’s 2013 favorite moments…

{Thanks Lisa Frechette for snapping the pic below of me in acton!}

 Are you still with me?

I know that was a lot!

This is my very scaled down version, if you can believe it!

In the comments below, I’d love to hear what your favorite image is on this post.

Thank you so much for joining me on this adventure in photography and life!

Its only day 4 of the 2014 and this year has already been exciting:

We had a pretty big snow storm and the temps dropped to below zero.

We are native Southern Californians, so sub-zero temps are first!

Life is truly what you make it.

I have learned if you view life as an adventure

then those uncomfortable things that come your way

will feel less scary and more like fun-

Like freezing your bum off in sub-zero temps!

One of my photography goals this year is to continue to open my heart

so that the images I take reflect that and convey a genuine, honest  and true

soulful work.

I love what I do so much sometimes it hurts.

I put my heart and soul into my work.

I want to continue to love it, and continue to provide the time and attention

to everyone who steps in front of my camera with my full presence.

Thank you so much for being a part of my journey!!!

What is one of your goals for 2014?

~I wish you lots of laughter and fun in 2014~

{Here’s hoping I get to see you in front of my lens this year! ;)}

    I am still here.:) I enjoyed everyone of your shots. My fave that really grabbed my attention and made me hold my breath for a sec. was the first prego/sib. Black and white. The reason is her eyes and you did an amazing job of capturing a very beautiful and timeless shot of the two. It truly reminded me of Dorothy a Lang e’s work during the depression. It was not simply the black and white but more so the emotion you captured in the image her face said so little and so much at the same time. Amazing stuff and you should feel so proud of the work you do. I only wish I had your talent. You know how to “shape” and create that meaningful backdrop and you know what most can’t do, you know lighting. I know that feeling a smidge as far as that passion for photography and while I don’t truly know the camera I do love snapping away. Here’s to 2014 and more great pics.ReplyCancel

    The woman lying in the flower field. Your work with children and young families is always fabulous, but this one touched me because it captures a mature woman being playful. There is so much joy and beauty in her face!ReplyCancel

    Wow! Your work is so impressive and I agree with one of the comments above, you really know lighting! They’re all beautiful, but I especially like the ones of a mother and her son playing and laughing. Those combined with the video that you feature show that you capture the essence of who the families are and really capture their personalities!! Truly I was drawn to your photos, then I see you’re based in RI and CA and work in several areas close to my heart! (Ventura County is where I grew up and Ojai is where I eventually plan to make my way back to!) Currently living in SE Mass an work in Newport, so I can very much relate to the places you love to shoot! I wish you much success in 2014!ReplyCancel
