What can be more intimidating then when a family travels to you from a gorgeous place like Hawaii,

for a photo session in Sunny San Diego- and they don’t want the beach?

Normally I don’t care about location, I will shoot anywhere!

I don’t even recommend the beach, but I was hung up on providing a San Diego experience,

and all I could think of was the beaches here!

I’ll be honest, I was intimidated!

I was worried that nothing would match up to Hawaii’s beauty.

I know I will preach that its not about the location, and all about the connection,

BUT I was still intimidated! How can I compete with Hawaii??

Luckily, I had an idea- reserved for the adventurous, earthy types and guess what?

They were adventurous and not afraid to get a little wet (and possibly muddy)!

It was awesome!

I am so glad it finally happened, as they were my kind of family.
